i’m going to braemar tomorrow until friday

it’s not the coast or cairngorm lodge but it’s scotland and it’s beautiful and it’ll be cold and there might be some snow. we’re staying in the youth hostel and i can go for walks with my camera and sketchbook and i can read and write and relax and be away from everything

i really need to get away for a while

cold fresh air and the smell of pine trees and woodsmoke and mountains and forests and lochs and waterfalls and clear skies and dark nights
