walking home tonight it was so cold and clear and the stars were beautiful and i stopped and looked up at it all and then i had one of those moments when you’re suddenly incredibly aware of how huge the world is and how much there is to see and you feel full of hope and happiness and excitement about life and the future and all the shitty bits of daily life seem so small and totally unimportant and irrelevant and i am very lucky to be alive and i really ought to make something out of this little life of mine
